Q: Why should I rent baby equipment? A: Travelling with children is difficult enough without having to lug around bulky baby equipment. It is not unusual for airlines to loose or misdirect luggage and this could be very disrupting to a family vacation. And let's face it, you can't fit a highchair into your suitcase! To make matters even more complicated, stricter security measures also make it difficult to carry items such as shampoo and lotions for your baby. Why not let us deliver the equipment and travel accessories directly to you, so you can travel lighter, making for a more enjoyable trip. We're here to help make your life easier! Renting equipment can even save you money in the long run if you are flying! A: Placing an order is simple and convenient. Equipment reservations can be made over the phone at 1.888.338.8316, by fax 1.888.338.8316 or by email (. Orders from our Baby Boutique may easily be added to your rental reservation or placed at a later time. We require either a signed paper copy or an electronically submitted acknowledgment of the rental agreement/waiver upon or prior to delivery of rental equipment. Q: How far in advance should I reserve? A: We recommend reserving your rental equipment as early as possible to ensure availability. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required. Equipment rentals must be secured with a valid Visa or Master Card credit card number. Please inquire directly by telephone for special orders placed with less than 48 hours notice. Q: How do I receive my rental? A: We will deliver your rental equipment directly to your hotel, airport, train terminal, cottage or home. We can arrange to leave the equipment at your hotel and pick it up before check-out time. Please inform your hotel that you will be expecting a delivery from us. Be sure to specify if you would like your delivery placed in your room or held at the front desk. We will contact your hotel 24 hours before delivery to confirm. Q: Is there a delivery fee for rentals? A: Yes. We charge a standard $30 delivery/pick up fee for all orders delivered within the Island of Montreal area. We offer a special delivery rate of $15 for all orders in the West Island of Montreal. This fee includes equipment setup at your destination. We are also able to accommodate orders outside of the Montreal area such as the Laurentians and Eastern Townships. Please call us to inquire about these delivery rates. A: There is a minimum charge of $40 per order for equipment rentals delivered within the Montreal area, excluding taxes and delivery fee. The minimum charge may vary dependent upon the location. There is no minimum purchase required for any purchases made through our Baby Boutique. Applicable shipping charges will be added to your invoice. We accept Visa, Mastercard or Cash (for pre-arranged deliveries by BebeGoGo). A refundable deposit may be required for the rental of certain equipment. Your credit card will not be charged until 48 hours prior to delivery. Q: Do you deliver to the airport? A: Yes. We deliver to the Montreal-Trudeau airport. Please contact us for more details. Please provide us with your flight information so we can meet you as soon as you need your equipment. We also deliver to the Montreal Train Stations (Via Rail in Dorval as well as the downtown AMTRAK terminal). We are unable to deliver cribs to the airport or train stations. Q: What is the Quebec law on using car seats and booster seats? A: According to Quebec law, in a moving road vehicle, children whose sitting height is less than 63 cm (25 ") (measured from the seat to the top of the head) must be securely held in a car seat. The sitting height is used to determine which children must use a child's car seat. As it is mandatory to use a suitable car seat for children, you must read the manufacturer's instructions for the height and weight a given seat can safely accommodate. The sitting height of less than 63 cm corresponds to the average sitting height of a 6 ½-year-olds child.
Q: Do you install car seats? A: Sorry, we do not install car seats. We will however, provide you with the full instructional manual. If additional help is needed, we will gladly refer you to the nearest police or fire station where qualified personnel can assist you. Q: What if I don't need to rent equipment and I only need to order items from your Baby Boutique? A: No need to worry, we are here to make your trip easier! We would be more than happy to take orders for items from our Baby Boutique. Q: What if I want to rent something or buy a baby product that you do not carry? A: We are always trying to meet the different needs of our customers. Please call or email us with your request and we will do our best to get you what you need. Q: Can I rent equipment for guests who are visiting from out of town? A: Most families have to haul around all their baby gear, food, diapers and toys when they leave home. Impress your guests by making your home a "child friendly" atmosphere. Believe us, they will be thrilled! We can help you with all the arrangements and little details to accommodate your guests. Q: What happens if my equipment becomes damaged during use? A: We do require a damage deposit for some rental items. If your equipment breaks or is not functioning properly, contact us as soon as possible and we will gladly provide you with a replacement. Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: We understand that plans often change with babies and tots. If you need to cancel your order, please do so within 48 hours of the pre-arranged delivery time. Otherwise, you will be charged an administrative fee of $20. Q: Is the equipment safe and in good condition? A: We only rent top of the line equipment, in "brand new" condition. We understand how important it is to keep your child safe and we would never rent anything that we wouldn't feel safe using with our own children. Our staff inspects all equipment before and after each use. We also monitor closely through Health Canada any recalls that have been made for any equipment that we carry. Q: How often do you clean your equipment? A: All of our rental equipment are sanitized and meticulously cleaned before and after each use. Don't worry, you will not find another child's Cheerios hidden beneath the seats. Additionally, all cloth items are thoroughly washed in hot water with dye and fragrance free, eco-friendly laundry detergent. We only believe in using eco-friendly all natural cleaning products that are safe for little ones. Q: What if I am not satisfied with the equipment or products? A: If you are not satisfied with your equipment or products, please let us know as soon as possible in order to correct the problem. If you are still are not satisfied, we will fully refund your money. |
